Luckily we will have the classroom for our regularly scheduled course, but it would be great to have 2 additional rooms in Gonda. Would this be possible?

Yes, you can buy t-shirts through the department. It can be a bit of a hassle, but it’s possible. If you want “UCLA” or department logo on the shirt, we need to get approval from UCLA Trademarks and Licensing. We also have to use approved vendors like Gorilla Marketing or Manhattan Stitching.
 
For room reservations, let me know how many rooms you need. Each floor of the Gonda building has a conference room. We can also check out rooms in MRL and NRB.
 
Also, I’m including Viyda in this email to share the list of labs they used for Brain Awareness Week.

I hope you are having a good week so far! I have 2 questions for PB and was wondering if you know who is best to ask:
 
1. We would like to get T-shirts to have a more uniform look for our visits. Is this something that can be covered by the budget? Since is this is my first run, I am not to sure about what costs we should anticipate (though we only have a handful of visits left).
2. For one of the visits, we are going to have k-12 students come to campus on May 20th. Is there a way to reserve neighboring rooms in GONDA? Additionally, I wanted to ask if you have any suggestions for labs/PI’s that would be open to a quick lab visit so the kiddos can see what it looks like?
